I' ve traversed this path - Courage to traverse the threshold

I attended the Alliance for Peacebuilding at the U.S. Institute of Peace on October 11th 2017. Experts explore new ideas for preventing and resolving violent conflict. The conference, entitled “Peace Now, More Than Ever,” kicks off with a video message from United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres. The day’s sessions also include several panels and discussions of how men can champion women’s roles for peace and security, how peacebuilding programs can monitor their performance and adapt, and how policy can contribute to stabilizing conflict zones. Speakers came from Sierra Leone, Afghanistan, Uganda, Ghana, Iran, US, Canada, Nigeria, Cameroon and internationally to share personal perspectives on these issues.

It was inspiring to join the community of Baltimore as they celebrate talents and innovation for the 6th year in a row. After a year of hardwork and the unveiling of new startup companies and technologies the communuty of innovators and supporters hangout together to celebrate the work of the startup companies and to celebrate another successful Baltimore innovation week. The final dinner and awards ceremony to honor those who stood out in the Tech startup domain was inspiring and memorable

It was an opportunity to attend the Mobiles for Education Alliance (MEducation Alliance. This was the 7th Annual MEducation Alliance symposium  The event took place at the United States Institute for Peace in DC on October 5th and 6th 2017.  The symposium was well- attended with participants giving the opportunity to share ideas and launch new partnerships to advance the use of technology,  particularly mobile technology in lower resource countries.
