Rythms and Readings  The Baltimore Book Festival is home to   hundreds of performances and appearances by local, celebrity and nationally known authors. And there are lots of raw talents too. You got to see the amazing up-and-coming artist DBS (Deep Beat Speed), rocking the stage and performing his new album at the 2016 Baltimore Book festival on Friday September 23, at 1pm at the Baltimore Inner Harbor, and his songs are all on 3D ready for a grab. DBS was non-stop and his rap and lyrics flowed smoothly and has the tendency to catch a hold of you and make you go frenzy dancing or make you jolting off on your feet. So he kind of made it flow like it was all poetry and music combined and I think this is a great guy who has a great future. Visit to Smith Island. We left Point Lookout State Park in the place called Scotland, Maryland, to set sail at the banks of Smith Island where we had the chance to taste a more relaxed Island life in this historic picturesque setting. As we came ashore from the 'Twister' boat, we were greeted and warmly welcomed by the Bayside Inn. You may have heard about the "Famous Smith Island Cake". This restaurant (The Bayside Inn), is renowned for its special fresh crab cakes, and cream of crab soup.

Remembering 9-11. 43rd  Annual Catonsville Arts and Craft Festival features September 11th remembrance. September 11th 2016 10:00 am till 5:00 PM.  My experience on this amazing journey...of an enjoyable festival filled with a medley of arts, food, fun and shopping, not to forget my favorite crab cakes. The event was started in 1969 by members of the Catonsville Forward Plan. This group was formed by The Woman's Club of Catonsville, the Rolling Hills Woman's Club and the Catonsville Business Association with a goal of attracting visitors to the Catonsville Village business district.
