WH DAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL "JUST BETWEEN US"...NETWORK OF INNOVATIVE
SCHOOLS (SCHOOLNET)

VISITOR FROM SIERRA LEONE

All of our students had
the opportunity to talk to and hear about Andrew Greene's work with
empowering the youth in his country to live in peace. Andrew has
shared messages from his students with ours about interest and
customs. he was also able to speak at the Remembrance Day assembly. As
a Sauvé Scholar at McGill university he has the opportunity to meet
with people in Canadian Government departments, private business and
other support agencies from around the world that are trying to
promote peace. He is one of twelve people from different countries
that were granted this scholarship because of the humanitarian work
that they do in their countries. We wish Andrew well in his studies
and his work to promote peace in his country and throughout the
world.
